2009-11-24: Image to be Published, Silver Award Winner !!

Of the 4397 images submited by the 637 Photographers 207 Images were selected to be in the B&W Single Image Contest 2010 Special Issue Edition of B&W Magazine. I managed to snag a Silver Award for one of my images. Look for it on newstands in Feb 2010.

For this show I endeavored to create an image that showed "Time" in the philosophical sense. The inspiration for this image came from this quote of Isaac Newtons description of the concept of time:
"Time and space form a container for events, which is as real as the objects it contains"

On show are the "Before 9" and "After 5" Series of Photos from my Beaker project. These two series of 3 photos each are an attempt of mine to give a little insight into Beakers life outside his working hours. For the many fans of "The Muppet Show" they would recognize Beaker as the hapless assistant of Dr. Bunsen Honeydew. My images were created by meticulously constructing small set for my finger puppet sized Beaker. The images show humanizing moments from Beakers everyday home life.
